A - Accommodation
The Blue Pub Methven has budget accommodation available in true authentic kiwi pub style. The rooms however, are warm, clean and comfortable with singles, twins, doubles, king size beds and two dorm room to cater for larger budget groups (up to four per room). There is a brand new large common room and TV lounge as well as fully renovated Kitchen and bathrooms. Also on offer is off street parking and best of all, you only need to walk across the road to catch your transport if you are heading up to Mt Hutt for a day of skiing or snowboarding.

C - Ski Area transport - Blue Pub to Mt Hutt return
Shuttle from Blue Pub to Mt Hutt:

Mt Hutt Tours runs a bus service daily to and from the Mt Hutt and pick up and drop off from right outside The Blue Pub.
Price -  $23.00 return trip
Tickets from Methven i SITE.
(Three and seven day passes can be obtained at a discounted rate)

D - Heli skiing / Heli boarding
Methven Heliski has some of the finest Heli skiing terrain in the Southern Hemisphere with 3 mountain ranges and over 250 named runs. From the top of at least 2 runs it’s possible to see the Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea - both coasts of the South Island! Methven Heliski can take care of all your needs and their departure office is only a few minutes walk from the Blue Pub.

Standard Heliski Package | "Perfect" 5-run Day
The standard Methven Heliski day in New Zealand's Arrowsmiths is anything but ordinary... The "Perfect" heli ski package includes 5 runs, averaging 750-1,000 vertical metre drops.
Operating Dates: 01 July to 30 September 2011
Price: NZ$950 per person

Included in the price:
5 heliskiing runs
Professional heliski guide services
A generous home-made picnic lunch
Safety equipment, including avalanche transceivers
Return transfers from Methven to Glenfalloch Station helipad (if required)

Extra helisking runs are always available. Our extra runs are flexible and low-cost. Great if you want to maximise your vertical. Enquire about extra runs when booking. Cost:  NZ$125 per 1,000 vertical metres.

We operate only with fine weather, so the number of flying days varies each week. For a 7 day period we expect at least 4 days flying. Booking are essential seats are numbers are limited and all booking are subject to weather and conditions.
